BOAT DONATION PROGRAM
The VADM James H. Flatley Jr. Division is a Wisconsin 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
One method for the division to raise funds is by accepting donated boats.
These are then reconditioned by staff members and members of the U.S. Navy Sea Cadets and either sold or put into service as research / training vessels.
If you have a boat you wish to donate, please email us at usnscc_flatley@hotmail.com and usnscc_flatley@yahoo.com or sending us your contact information using the address below. A staff member will get in touch with you.
We accept all types of seaworthy boats, both power and sail.
Boats which are donated should either have access to the Great Lakes or its waterways or be on a functional trailer.
We will send a representative out to look at your boat and determine if we can accept it as a donation.
By making a donation of your boat, you will help maintain the quality training of young people, research projects and enhancing public knowledge of Great Lakes Natural History.
Boat Donors receive an honorary membership in the VADM James H. Flatley Jr. Division.
